    Widely credited with having one of the finest palates in the industry, Richard has been involved with the wine world for 30 years, first as a sommelier, then as a winemaker in California and Western Australia, a merchant, an importer and a consultant. 

    Richard's enthusiasm for finding new wines led him to start his own company, sourcing and importing from small, independent, often family-run producers, who employ organic and biodynamic viticulture. Richard has been responsible for introducing winemakers such as Fanny Sabre, La Grange Quatre Sous, Weingut Birgit Braunstein, Domaine St Nicolas, Domaine Jean Bourdy and Mas de l'Ecriture to the UK market. 

    Drawing on his extensive knowledge and contacts, Richard is skilled in matching winemakers with importers, acts as a consultant to bars and restaurants to help them create diverse and profitable wine lists and sources wine to build cellars for private individuals.
